1st generation glow

Growing up a first generation Vietnamese- American, I always felt like an outcast and much like an alien.  I was very unpopular; I was a tom-boy with big bug glasses and a bowl-cut hair style....FAST FORWARD  fourteen years...

I am so surprised when Phillip photographs me as an Asian girl!  I almost get offended when I see the very traditional photographs on the computer screen.  But, let's get real...I am 100% Asian.  My eyes aren't that big, or blue, and I will never have the hourglass shape without plastic surgery.  It has taken much art and work in modeling to fully appreciate what I bring to the table...a 1st generation glow.  Thank you Phillip for again, joining me on my journey of self-discovery.

my first pin-up

I was introduced to Robert Alvarado by Phillip.  After chatting for a bit, we decided to shoot!  I was a little apprehensive because he is such a famous pin-up photographer, and I had never done pin-up.  I would by mortified if I let him down.  But, I am happy to say, it was a success...Take a looksie!

rediscovering my vision as a model

I have finally found my niche...

I came into Phillip Ritchie's studio to chat.  Although we had no intention to shoot, I had a spectacular swimsuit that had to photographed... I had always wanted a one-piece, but of course it would have to be the sexiest one I could find.  Thank you, Dolce & Gabbana for fashioning one of the sleekest and most beautiful pieces of "swimwear."  Anyways, I brought it in and we rediscovered my vision as a model.  Hello Deveraux.
